Xave Brown

Nic: “All the photos on display were taken while I was putting together the artwork for Xave Brown’s new CD, Whalebone Beach. The images were taken over 2 evenings as the sun was setting — firstly on the shore of the Wilson Inlet, and then at Elephant Rocks, here on the south coast of Western Australia. The artwork came together with Whalebone Beach playing in the background.
It’s been so much fun...thanks Xave and good luck with the CD.”

Xave: “Working on this project with Nic was far too ridiculously easy. I had a few ideas floating in my head (a death photo, a sunset silhouette, a beach feel)…it was amazing to see my vague ideas become a reality in such a way that it went beyond my hopes and expectations. Nic has created a beautifully cohesive series of images that really reflect the feel of my music. Each piece is like a painting, with exquisite attention to detail which draws you into its distinctive mood and narrative.”
